- John Thurston Review added: 2018.02.21★ ★ ★ ★ ★We had the most amazing evening at Gurkha Dine (new name for Lal Akash) this week. 15 of us were treated like royalty - greeted by the manager, served quickly and suggested a magnificent platter of mixed starters to avoid us waiting for lots of decisions based on the huge choice. The food was spectacular - so much flavour where all the spices could be tasted and with really good quality meat and vegetables. For many of the group it was a 1st visit but they left promising it wouldn't be their last. Well done guys, we'll be back.
(NB- Don't be put off by the pub it is part of - it may not be as salubrious the restaurant but it's friendly enough and the beer is cheap!).
